I am an artist. I began my career in Prescott Arizona as an adjunct professor at Yavapai College. During this time I became known for my success in teaching subjects such as drawing and painting. I also participated in annual faculty exhibits at the college gallery. Through my 17 years at Yavapai College my husband and I raised two children in Chino Valley. I began teaching public education at Chino Valley High School teaching in the art department. In 2012 I worked in the small town of Seligman Arizona. at Seligman Schools teaching K-12 art. My Primary focus as an artist is painting and drawing, however, I also love working in ceramics. I have found clay is a wonderful medium for students to express themselves, and it's fun! With my background of teaching at the college level, I am inspired to share my knowledge with younger students to give them a strong foundation of learning about how to make art.
